1) The student is coming to the University of Saskatchewan directly from highschool (i.e. you graduated from highschool within the last year).

2) The Residence Application and application fee is submitted before the deadline of January 31st for the upcoming Fall/Winter term. Those that apply prior to this date are guaranteed to receive an offer for accommodations at Voyageur Place Residence (only). How to Apply

How to Apply:

  • Register or login to the Residence Housing Portal via the MY RESIDENCE channel available through PAWS. You will need to obtain an NSID through USASK Admissions to login.
  • Complete the online application form with the non-refundable $75 CDN application fee
  • Submit your application
  • Room type options are limited. We will consider any preferences listed on your application but may not be able to accommodate all requests. Students with a medical need for a specific room type should contact Access & Equity Services to discuss their accommodation needs.
  • Successful applicants are required to make an advanced ROAF (Room Offer Acceptance Fee) payment prior to the payment stated deadline to secure their room booking

Applications for Residence housing are received through the online Residence application site. Prospective Residence students must complete the online application and provide a one-time, non-refundable application fee of $75. In the event that an applicant cancels their application or does not receive a Timeslot Offer letter, the application fee remains non-refundable in accordance with the Residence Cancellation Policy.

We've put together a video of what it looks like as you move through the application process which should answer most of your questions about the application form itself. However, any additional questions about the forms or the process, in general, can be directed to the Residence Services Office
