Application Fee

There is a $75.00 non-refundable application fee. Once the application is successful, applicants will receive a letter of offer and timeslot for unit selection emailed to them and will then be asked to submit the Room Offer Acceptance Fee (ROAF). The ROAF payment will be applied to the term rental payment. Please see our rates and fees page for ROAF amounts.

Payment Options

  • Credit Card Payments: Visa and MasterCard payments are accepted through the online Residence Housing Portal, which can be accessed using your university provided NSID and password credentials.
  • In person: Debit and cheque payments can be made in person at the Residence Services Office (Room 128 Saskatchewan Hall). Cash payments are not recommended at this time, but may be considered on a case by case basis. Rent payments are accepted Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm. The Residence Service Office is closed on weekends and Statutory Holidays.
  • Mail: Send a cheque or money order payable to the University of Saskatchewan - Residence Services Office with your student number clearly marked on it to: University of Saskatchewan Residence Office, Room 128 Saskatchewan Hall, 91 Campus Drive, Saskatoon Saskatchewan, S7N 5E8.
  • PLEASE NOTE - Residence Services cannot accept e-transfer payments or transfers from Student Accounts on your behalf. Payments must be made directly to Residence Services.

Payment Plan Request Forms must be submitted with supporting documentation and must be approved by the Residence Services Office prior to Check-in by the Payment Plan deadline.
Late Fees
A late payment fee of $25.00 will be applied to any payments not received by the deadlines outlined above.

Graduate Students and Residents with Student Loans

If you are receiving a student loan, or if you are a Graduate Student paid monthly by the University of Saskatchewan, you must make payment arrangements with the Residence Services Office prior to your arrival by submitting a Payment Plan Form.
