Throughout the first week of school, residence will be hosting numerous events for residents to engage with, and have an opportunity to meet other residents.
Parent & Supporters Orientation: 2:00pm-3:00pm
Description: The Parent & Supporters Orientation will be an opportunity for friends & family to learn more about Student Life and residence. There will be specific information regarding supports and resources available to residents, and parents & supporters will have an opportunity to ask any questions they may have!

Hall Meetings: 5:00pm-5:30pm
Description: An opportunity for RAs to introduce themselves and meet their students. This will be the first introduction to the rules and policies in residence and how certain things are done. RAs will spend the time to build their community and ensure that questions are answered, and expectations are set.

Description: Residents will have an opportunity to create a throne out of cardboard and meet other VP residents.

Description: The residents will become acquainted with their area Coordinator and learn important information about residence, Student Life, and the resources available to them.
Description: This will be an opportunity for residents to meet others in a casual and relaxed format.

Description: Residents will be given the opportunity to sing and connect with the University of Saskatchewan community.

Rock Climbing: 7:30pm-9:30pm
Description: Residents will learn how to rock climb and belay from PAC gym staff. This course allows individuals to climb the rock wall at the PAC independently throughout the year. Only twelve spots are available.
Description: Residents will have the chance to play many different board games while getting to know fellow residents in a casual format. Coffee and snacks will be provided.

Description: Residents will learn how to rock climb and belay from PAC gym staff. This course allows individuals to climb the rock wall at the PAC independently throughout the year. Only twelve spots are available.
Description: Residents will receive a potted herb seed to grow with them throughout the school year. Supplies will be available for residents to paint and/or decorate their pots.

Description: Residents will engage in a fun paint night where they will work with a video of Bob Ross and have snacks.

Description: Hosting a movie night outdoors on a blow-up screen. Residents will be provided with snacks and blankets to make their experience memorable (blanket and snack quantity is limited)

Residence Fest: 12:00pm-5:00pm
Description: Residents will be able to come and mingle with each other. There will be various activities to participate in including face painting, bouncy castles, lawn games, and more! There will be many information booths for you to learn about university life and the wider Saskatoon community. Food trucks will be on site to sell food and beverages.

Toga Run Prep: 5pm-7pm
Description: Residents will have the opportunity to prepare for Toga Run. Facepaint, headbands & togas will be provided though residents are encouraged to bring their own!

Residents will have the opportunity to partake in the toga run at the first Huskies Football game.
