Wi-Fi
If you experience any issues with your unit’s Wi-Fi connection, please try the following troubleshooting tips.
For managed Wi-Fi:

- Reselect USask_Resident network and re-enter the password
For units with modems:
- Find the small reset button (usually a pinhole) on the back of the modem
- Press and hold it with a paperclip for 10-30 seconds until lights flash, then release
- The modem will need a few minutes to fully reboot and restore factory settings
- If the modem goes back online, you will need to reenter the network and password.
If this does not resolve your issue please contact us by emailing residence@usask.ca. In your email, include your name, building, unit number, if you have a modem include a picture of the back of your modem to include the serial number and a brief description of the problem. This information will help us troubleshoot the issue more efficiently and provide timely support.
Student Life Holiday Programming
Throughout the winter break, Student Life will have two dedicated programming RAs who will be hosting programming throughout the break.
Possible programs being held:
- Cookie decorating
- Movie night
- Games night
- Craft night
- Snow people contest
These events are run to encourage residents to get out of their units and meet others during the break so that they have opportunities to engage in activities and not feel alone.
Lockout RAs
To ensure 24/7 support, our Lockout RAs will be on-call throughout the break:
- Always keep your unit and bedroom keys with you - If you become locked out during the break, contact Protective Services. A $50 service fee will apply, and they will coordinate with a student representative to meet and grant you access to your unit. Please note: Lockouts are not considered a priority service, so response times may vary.
We will transition to the holiday break support on December 24th at noon. Regular coverage will resume on January 2nd at noon.
